MEN’S RECOVERY & CONNECTION SUPPORT GROUP
We understand the challenges of addictive processes and compulsive sexual behavior, aswell as the often traumatic effects on partners. This unique psycho-educational programis a great adjunct to therapy and 12 step meetings, and is intended to bolster motivation for lasting change, foster resilience, and provide tools for relational support.
This small group will be a safe space to explore strengthening connection with self and others.
Sessions Will include Topics Such as:
What’s my Definition of Sobriety? Revisiting Commitments to Self and Others
How the (BLEEP) Did I Get Here? Early Origins of Maladaptive Coping
How Can I Get a Grip and Forgive Myself? Developing Emotional Fortitude
How do I Function in Relationships? Understanding Attachment and Relational Styles
What do I Need to Do Now for Her and Us? Creating Safety, Trust, and True Healing
With Your Partner (or Preparing for a Future Relationship)
How do I Sustain my Momentum and not Relapse? Replacing Harmful Coping
Mechanisms and Sabotaging Old Routines With New, Positive, Healthy Habits
Where Do I Go From Here? Deepening Connection and Intimacy
There will be reflection exercises to prepare between sessions, active participation,, and opportunities to support each other on this great journey to becoming a strong man in recovery, a better partner, and a happier human. Come prepared to work, give, and thrive!
